Governance and Policies

Our Board of Trustees
Our work is guided by the Funders Together Board, bringing together leaders and practitioners from across the funding and social change landscape. Drawing on a breadth of expertise and experience, trustees provide strategic direction, challenge and guidance, helping us strengthen our impact and support a more connected, equitable and effective funding ecosystem.
To support our Governance structure, each of our platforms has a dedicated advisory group or committee to bring focus to the work
- The 360Giving Stewardship Committee: oversees and accounts for the appropriate and timely maintenance of the 360Giving Standard
- The London Leadership Board: shapes the priorities for London Funders, ensuring that London's communities remain at the heart of its work
- The Collaboration Circle Board of Directors: comprised of funders and equity-focused civil society leaders in equal number, it sets the strategy and maintains oversight of its collaborative programmes
- Place Based Giving Advisory group: having supported our transition to grow this work, building on the success of London's Giving, we are currently convening a new group to guide it through the next phase of its work
Our History
Funders Together began in November 2025 when members of London Funders voted in favour of removing the geographic restriction to its work and changing its registered charity name to Funders Together.
You can read more about why members were asked to vote on this change here. Following the General Meeting on 4 November and overwhelming support of London Funders members to make these changes to our governing document, Funders Together was born, and you can look back on the statement James shared in response.
