DEI Data Group
DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) considerations are crucial to effective and strategic funding. The DEI Data Standard is a shared framework that gives UK funders a common language, consistent questions, and clear guidance to understand whether their funding is reaching communities that experience structural inequity – and to do something about it when it isn't. The shared approach to collecting equity data is helping foundations to learn from one another, identify gaps, and target funding to address structural inequity.
The full Funders Together website, launched later this year, will bring together updated guidance, case studies and resources about the DEI Standard in one place.

The Equality Impact Investing Project (EIIP)
The EIIP is a collaborative UK-based initiative. It exists to ensure that social impact investing is more fully harnessed to reduce inequality through Equality Impact Investing (EII), a form of social impact investing that explicitly aims to reduce inequality and advance human rights. It applies the equality and human rights movement's internationally recognised aims, principles and standards to social impact investing goals, strategies and impact measurement across the full spectrum of capital.
While EIIP continues to operate as an independent initiative, guided by its own Advisory Board, being hosted by Funders Together creates opportunities for deeper collaboration on shared priorities, learning and strategic projects.
Greenwich Giving
Greenwich Giving has been delivering in Greenwich since December 2024, creating new routes for people and businesses to give money, time and skills to local charities and community projects. Greenwich Giving has matched over 40 local charities with pro-bono support from businesses, funded 21 grassroots projects and engaged more than 200 Greenwich residents in deciding where funding and resources should be directed in the borough.
Following METRO’s closure in April 2026, Funders Together will host Greenwich Giving over the next 15 months, supporting them to grow their work and transition into an independent charity.
